In today’s trying times, we all must focus on what we can control. We can’t control the economy, but we can control how we react to it and we can control how we lead in it. We must take the steps to heart and start leading in a new and better way. There are some permanent, good lessons we are going to gain from this downturn. It’s an education for all of us and one we hope is over soon. So while we wait for it to end, let’s work on leading better in these lean times.

The Businesses who struggle through hard times will face less competition after recovery begins because some competitors were not strong enough or did not try hard enough to continue in business. “Survival of the Fittest” will certainly come into play.
